Many early morning alarm calls, many miles were driven, much weather experienced and endured, many photography mistakes made, at least one lens broken, broken filters and pulled ligaments through falling, why do we do it!?
The answer to the above paragraph is an easy one ~ watching the sunrise and set as it happens ~ feeling the sunshine, rain, hail, snow and wind on your face ~ taking in the sights, smells and sounds of nature with hardly a person to be seen ~ operating the camera to capture data which can then be processed in software to exactly how the image looked as it was taken or indeed otherwise in an artistic way ~ capturing moments through the lens that people hang on a wall in their home which evokes memories of loved ones and happy family memories ~ need a say more?

Which of my photographs is my favorite? The one I’m going to take tomorrow.

Below is a gallery of not necessarily the best but some of my favourite images taken over the last 9 years from learning photography back in 2013 to the present day (December 2021).
