Tim Hill
Yorkshire Landscape Photographer
Hello, I am a landscape/seascape photographer and CAA certified drone operator from sunny and historic Pontefract in West Yorkshire, England.
I started taking photography seriously, in a pleasurable sort of way, in 2013, these days photography is still all about pleasure but I would like to think I have learned a thing or two along the way.
Life & family permitting, I like to get out with the camera gear at least once a week to take in the sights, sounds and smells of the countryside, coast and nature.
Over the years my photographs have been published and used in many ways including prints, stock imagery, published in newspapers, books, magazines, a record cover or two / cd & digital download art and proudly in a double-page diary spread for The Royal Academy of Music London.
This website is all about interaction, if you have a thought, comment or question, I would love to hear from you either in the comments or by email. Thank you for dropping by!
“When words become unclear, I shall focus with photographs. When images become inadequate, I shall be content with silence.”
~ Ansel Adams
Landscape photography
What is there
to love
I really cannot put into words what there is to love about landscape photography, especially in one paragraph, and still do the feelings and emotions justice ~ watching the sunrise and set as it happens ~ feeling the sunshine, rain, hail, snow and wind on your face ~ taking in the sights, smells and sounds of nature with hardly a person to be seen ~ operating the camera to capture data which can then be processed in software to exactly how the image looked as it was taken or indeed otherwise in an artistic way ~ capturing moments through the lens that people hang on a wall in their home which evokes memories of loved ones and happy family memories ~ need I say more?
