Lens Fungus

Quote

Luckily up to press, I have never had lens fungus so I don't really know the effects when it comes to image quality. I understand that lens fungus starts as pollen and skin particles and eventually becomes a miniature ecosystem.

Has anyone reading this had lens fungus before and what effect does it have on image quality?

I'm interest 👍

From the Nikon D3200 to the Nikon D7100 to currently the Fujifilm X-T2, loved them all...

Fungus start as minute particles of material that have nothing to do with pollen or skin Tim it thrives in humid lightless environments I had it in a 300mm f4 nikkor it was a small amount I killed it with uv light it made no difference to the shot quality that I could see
