Peak District, Derbyshire.
I was up at 4 this morning and on the road for 4:30. On arriving at Suprise Car Park it soon became apparent that I was 2 weeks too late to see the heather in full bloom, most of it had finished or was fading.
I did, however, find a patch that was still in flower, which saved the day as I came back with very little keepers, this being the best. It happens and does not bother me any more, it’s all part of photography and just being there and exploring is enough.
Have a great weekend all 🌈
