Measure twice, cut once

A web designer friend of mine once said, his philosophy when it came to web design was ‘measure twice, cut once’, I read, thought ‘you’re right’, then promptly forgot all, as I do. But of course, he was right, experience taught him this and his customers reaped the benefits.

So what’s this to do with photography?

Well, lots actually, you get stuff right in-camera it saves you a world of time in post-processing, but that’s for another post…

When it comes to this new website, I measured once and cut 16 times, I did know better but did it anyway, again, as I do.

Back on track

After a timely week off work and some bad weather, no photography days, the website is just about back on track.

I decided to link gallery items to prints, if you are here to see landscape/seascape images you can go anywhere on the net, if you are here to look at my work and evaluate if to buy or not, all is in place each time I add a gallery post.

I hope most of the website is now on track. Please tell me in the comments your thoughts, your comments are appreciated.

Thank you for reading, here are some images from Ullswater Yesterday
